Last week's weather was bipolar with a mixture of heat, humidity, overcast and unexpected rainfall. Thankfully, my white blazer made it out alive because keeping whites white isn't a forte of mine. Scored these polka dot shorts from Madewell recently and had been debating between the navy blue pair and the brown ones that I ended up going with. So glad I went with the later because the color is neutral enough to pair with brights/whites and can easily be toned down for cooler months ahead.

I'm on a self-imposed shopping ban; it'll be interesting to see how I fare with making use of the current pieces in my closet. There's more than enough to play around with so let the fun (& torture) begin!
