One of the things on my bucket list is to visit all 50 states before age 50. Some states are easily achievable, while others, like Montana, more obscure with no real desire to every step foot in. Montana was added to the road trip itinerary because of Yellowstone National Park. We flew from Seattle to Bozeman, MT and drove our way down to West Yellowstone. Out of all of the driving portions of the entire trip, MT was the most visually stimulating. What could've been a 2 hour drive ended up taking closer to 5 hours because of all the stops we made along the way... passing through the countryside, expansive forests, creeks, rivers & lakes, and ending the day with a stunning sunset.
