Inspired by the HP x360 Behind the Scenes video, my gal pal Melanee and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to San Diego for Memorial Day weekend. Not only are we great friends, but we thrive off each other's creativity which lends itself to the perfect collaboration. As seen in the HP x360 Behind the Scenes video, the best experiences are those that pull ideas from all different points of view.

We brainstormed our goals for the trip: to enjoy a change of scenery, embrace San Diego's unique charm and character, yet incorporate the usual activities that we love to do in LA. Together, we planned out our itinerary that bends the rules and deviates from the typical tourist routine. There weren't any visits to Sea World or the San Diego Zoo. Instead, sippin' on lattes in the cutest coffee shops, indulging in decadent desserts, and absorbing the beauty of California's coastline filled the weekend schedule.

Because of my blog, I tend to travel with my DSLR. This time, I decided to leave the heavy cumbersome camera behind and only use my iPhone to capture the photographical memories. With the help of my HP x360, I edited the photos and created a collage to recap the weekend.

Be sure to watch the HP x360 Behind the Scenes video to get inspired and #BendTheRules.
