It's that time of year again. Valentine's Day is this weekend and whether you love or hate the holiday (or even consider it a holiday), it's the perfect excuse to get dressed up and dine at a favorite restaurant. My preference is to dine out a few days prior to the actual day to avoid the difficulty of scoring reservations and having to order from a pre-fixe menu.

I kept it simple for my date night look by wearing a fitted black and white striped dress, black sandals and a natural makeup look. I decided to not wear lip stick since I'll be eating and opted for a natural, glossy shine. Thanks to partnering with Vaseline, I was recently introduced to Vaseline's Lip Therapy and it has become my latest obsession. They come in an easy-to-use, newly-introduced tin that's inspired by the brand's original packaging from the 1880's and are available in four different variants: Original, Aloe, Rosy Lips and Cocoa Butter. Rosy Lips was my favorite (although I love them all) because it contains a rose, vanilla, red berry scent and is reminiscent of all things Valentines.

Infused with the dry skin healing power of Vaseline Jelly, the new lip treatment is non-sticky and non-greasy and applies smoothly on my lips. The balm literally melts on to my lips and leaves them super-soft and moisturized. It's a must-have that I keep with me at all times and absolutely essential for date nights.
