The weather in LA has been a bit bi-polar. After a few scorching hot 100+ degree days, we've finally received cooler weather (and rain!) these past few days. I can finally embrace the season and wear more fall appropriate clothing. This also means that I needed to get my fall wardrobe in order. Being a Los Angeles native and having a personal style that can be best defined as "casual chic", jeans are a must. I live in them during the cooler months and needed to refresh my denim collection with a few new styles, so I turned to Zappos to do a little online shopping. The website is so easy to navigate, plus they offer lightning fast and free shipping, the friendliest customer service and have a 365-day return policy. Plus, they carry one of my favorite denim brands, Hudson. Not only do I love Hudson because their jeans fit me to perfection (right?), but I love that they are a Los Angeles based brand and their styles are exactly in line with my own.
The Hudson Nico Mid-Rise Skinny has always been a favorite mine season after season and I already own a few pairs in this silhouette. I instantly gravitated towards them again because I find a mid-rise jean to be the most comfortable and the super skinny silhouette gives a flattering, streamlined look. The Hardlines 2 caught my eye because it's a faded black hue with hand sanding through the thighs. It features distressing, shredding, and grinding for a beautifully worn-in, casual vibe. I love taking a casual jean and dressing it up with a chic blouse and heels for a balanced look. I can't wait to wear these jeans more throughout the season to show how versatile they can be.
