Life can get a little hectic at times. And recently, I've felt this more than ever, but in the best way possible. I thrive off staying busy, always being on-the-go, and being productive. It makes me feel accomplished and at the end of the day, allows me to truly enjoy my free time, more so than ever. On the downside, there have been days where I've felt overwhelmed and find myself either skipping lunch (trust me, not by choice) or going to a fast food drive-thru because time is of the essence.
I knew something had to change and I looked for healthier lunch alternatives while being on-the-go. I've tried my fair share of pre-packaged salads, but after trying Taylor Farm's Single Serve Salads, I finally found myself a winner. I've tried their organic salad blends before so I'm not surprised that I love their personal sized salads as well. I love that Taylor Farms understands the importance of sustainability, they product food options that nourishes my body, stimulates my mind and sustains my livelihood. They use natural resources wisely (which is so important nowadays), all while trying to reduce the impact on the planet so future generates can enjoy the land for years to come.
They offer so much variety that I never get tired of them. There are plenty of options, from Sweet Kale, Spinach & Couscous to BLT Salad with Chicken, so there's something for everything. My favorites are their Apple & Walnut Salad with Chicken, BBQ Ranch Chopped Salad with Grilled Chicken and Asian Chopped Salad. Each single serve salad includes a variety of toppings, so not only are they delicious, but they are wholesome and filling. The toppings and dressing are separated from the greens, so they stay fresh until they are consumed. I love that they come in a small enough bowl that I can throw into my purse (plus they are packaged with a small fork). I'm so glad I found a healthy solution for lunch while on-the-go.
