TEVA 'ORIGINAL UNIVERSAL PREMIER' SANDALS

I ran into quite the debacle while packing for my trip to Tulum. Easy, breezy outfits? Check. Cute bikinis? Check. Tons of sunscreen? Check. Passport? Check. Shoes? Uhh... Houston, we have a problem...

I have my fair share of sandals, but none of them were comfortable enough for long walks while exploring the town, gave me enough support for hiking uneven terrain, or waterproof for days spent at the various cenotes. I could bring sneakers, but given 90+ degree heat and 87% humidity, I knew I wouldn't be comfortable in those either and ultimately needed something more breathable and didn't require socks.

Zappos came to the rescue, thanks to their wide selection of Teva sandals and their super-speedy (and free!) shipping meant that they arrived just in time! Their customer service team is always so friendly and helpful. They really know how to put a gal at ease with their 365 day hassle-free return policy!

Teva sandals were exactly what I needed to conquer the itinerary I had planned. I picked out the "Original Universal Premier" in black because it would pair best with the outfits that I packed. I wore them throughout the trip and on this particular day when we went to see the Mayan Ruins. They are a reminder that you don't need to sacrifice comfort for style. Through the day, I was so thankful that I had my Teva sandals because I honestly don't think I would've survived without them. The straps are adjustable and fit like they were made especially for my feed. Also, the sandals are waterproof which came in handy because from the ruins, you are able to access a small part of the beach.

With my Teva sandals in hand (or actually, on my feet), I'm looking forward to more outdoor adventures this summer!
