SWISSVALE BOMBER SWEATER, CALIBER TANK TOP, TRACK TUX TIGHT LEGGING

Being a Libra, I try my best to live a balanced life. Keyword: try. With everything that goes on, it’s often difficult to make time for all aspects of life - work, spending time with family and friends, free time for hobbies and working out. In partnering with Athleta, I’ve been challenged to incorporate more movement into my day-to-day activities and amp up my daily routine. I love this challenge because I gave me the opportunity to spend more time outdoors, get back into the groove of things and increase my productivity.

I work from home a lot and more specifically, work from my couch and bed more than I should. And with working from the comfort of my own home, I am easily distracted by household chores, having the TV on in the background and my irresistible dog. I decided to take advantage of all that LA has to offer, that I often overlook because I am turned off by the city’s traffic situation. The solution to avoiding spending time in my car and more time outdoors, I hopped on an electric scooter and rode to a local cafe.

Comfort is key for me, yet I truly believe that comfort and style are not mutually exclusive. Since I knew I would be sitting a lot, I had to be comfortable and not wear something that is restricting. And also because I would be meeting with colleagues, I needed to look put together. I choose to wear To keep me from going stir crazy, I try to change my sitting positions and incorporate stretches whenever I can - during conference calls, in between emails, etc. After the work day, a quick shoe change and peeling off my outside layer allows me to be workout ready.

To create an easy from “work to workout” look, I chose to wear the Caliber Tank because it’s lightweight with open hole mesh details that makes it breathable throughout the entire day. A pair of black leggings is a closet essential of mine. The Track Tux Tight is the perfect legging to dress up because of the stripe detail on the side (bonus points because it elongates the legs!). And my favorite piece to wear lately has been the Swissvale Bomber Sweater because it really helps pull the look together.

I’d love to hear if you have any tips for me on how you incorporate movement into your daily routine? Please share!
