Life can get a little hectic at times. And recently, I've felt this more than ever, but in the best way possible. I thrive off staying busy, always being on-the-go, and being productive. It makes me feel accomplished and at the end of the day, allows me to truly enjoy my free time, more so than ever.
I tend to stick with hotel properties that I'm familiar with when it comes to traveling. It was a no brainer to stay at the newly opened JW Marriott since I recently stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa a few months ago and was blown away on all levels.
It seems as if my life (and I'm sure yours as well) just gets more and more hectic by the minute. I find myself operating at full speed - working a full time job, maintaining my blog, keeping up with my social calendar and everything in between.
For as many times as I've been to San Francisco, I've never felt like I've truly explored the city properly until my most recent visit last month. With my fellow explorer, Cindy, we set out to peruse the Bay Area with an itinerary that differs from your normal/typical tourist destinations.
This brings me to the last post of my cross-country ice cream road trip that took place last October. The road trip adventure(s) was one of my fondest memories of 2014 and will be difficult to top, but I'm looking forward to traveling and seeing more of the United States.
Fall in New England is a magical time, unlike anything that I've experienced in LA. From Nashville, we flew up to Boston and made our way through Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and ended the trip in New York City.
I'm slowly, but surely getting through all the recaps from my #icecreamtrippin road trip. In my mind, if I take my time and savour each post, then the trip still isn't really over yet. Last October's stop in Nashville marked my 5th time in one of, if not, my favorite city in the USA.
The Big Easy aka NOLA aka New Orleans was a short, but fulfilling trip (literally). I had been to New Orleans almost exactly one year prior, but this most recent trip was different, in the best way possible.
It's always better to see something for yourself than to hear about it and that's exactly how I felt about Austin, TX. People have always told me about how cool, fun, hip, amazing, [insert complimenting adjective], the city is, but it wasn't until I experienced Austin for myself that I fully understood what they meant.
