It's Lunar New Year today and it's only fitting to share this post that I recently shot during a trip to San Francisco. I had never truly appreciated SF's Chinatown until this most recent trip and was able to see it with a different lens.
Happy Valentine's Day! I didn't necessarily want to create a "Valentine's Day" look, yet I also didn't want to completely disregard the day. Since the weather last week was glorious and warm, it was the perfect opportunity to wear a mini dress and bare some legs.
As the title suggests, this coat is one of those amazing pieces that just makes an outfit. I've worn it dressed up with heels, over dresses for a night out, and casually with sweatpants and sneakers. No matter the outfit, it instantly gives a polished, chic look.
And just like that, it's 2018! And also, just like that, I'm back to updating my blog. After having my blog for a handful of years now, it seems to be an ongoing trend. I tend to taper off on my posting schedule in the back half of the year, return with a vengeance in the new year and it slowly happens again. I'm not going to make any promises that it won't happen again, but I will try my best to keep up.
These photos make the example for those Buzzfeed "Instagram vs. Real Life" articles. I wasn't sure how they'd turn out since it was on a busy street and surrounded by parked cars, but Stefanie was able to capture it beautifully. I think that's the fun part about shooting and location scouting, to find the beauty in the places that I was pass every day.
