In the recent years, my style and wardrobe has evolved into neutrals and more classic pieces. Now that it’s finally warming up, it was the perfect excuse to do a little shopping. I try to be more mindful with what I buy nowadays given the new era of only keeping and bring in items that spark joy. And one of my favorite stores that always sparks joy for me is COS.
It’s Fall, which means it’s officially boots season. And if there is one pair of boots that I rely on for all of my seasonal dressing is the little black boot. Season after season, I’ve gone through my fair share of test driving various pairs and I’m so happy to have discovered the “Petra” boot by Dansko.
Being a Libra, I try my best to live a balanced life. Keyword: try. With everything that goes on, it’s often difficult to make time for all aspects of life - work, spending time with family and friends, free time for hobbies and working out.
For the past few months, I have really been gravitating towards more simple pieces and have made a conscious effort to invest in items that complement my wardrobe. I was introduced to Rothy's a few months ago (read previous post) and fell in love with not only their shoes, but the company's mission.
Me in flats? Yes, I know... it's a rare sighting, especially if it's not a pair of sneakers or sandals. The truth is, I meet very few pairs of flats that I actually like. I had seen Rothy's ads on all over social media and was intrigued by how they were looked super comfortable, yet incredibly chic. It was right up my alley because I'm a firm believer that style and comfort should not be mutually exclusive.
It is officially the unofficial start of summer, now that Memorial Day has passed. And with that, I am celebrating and embracing the new season the only way I know... by dressing the part. Say hello to the new essentials - fun sunglasses, quirky basket bags, short dresses and open toe sandals. To be honest, I have been stocking up on all of that for the past few months with the exception of sandals.
It's Lunar New Year today and it's only fitting to share this post that I recently shot during a trip to San Francisco. I had never truly appreciated SF's Chinatown until this most recent trip and was able to see it with a different lens.
Happy Valentine's Day! I didn't necessarily want to create a "Valentine's Day" look, yet I also didn't want to completely disregard the day. Since the weather last week was glorious and warm, it was the perfect opportunity to wear a mini dress and bare some legs.
